Naomi Osaka Return to Court

Naomi Osaka’s return to court as a new mom was a testament to the strength of women in sports all across the globe. Leading narrative, we looked to uplift Naomi’s return to court as a transformation - a metamorphosis into someone stronger, paving the way for new mothers with a deeper purpose beyond the court.

Performing well on the court was no longer about her, but about being able to provide her daughter with an example. A key part of the story Naomi wanted to include was a nod to her personal identity. This was achieved by a fresh approach to copy using the Japanese haiku format.
